Assessment Brief:
Create a marketing plan for a tourism-related business of your choice.
For this assessment, you will produce individually, a formal written project of approximately 2000 words excluding references and appendices.
Assessment Guidance:
Choose a tourism-related business of your choice and create a marketing plan to attract both new and existing customers. The focus of the project is to review the existing products and services of the chosen business and develop a new marketing plan to attract both new and existing customers.
Your report should include the following:
- Cover page
- Table of content
- Introduction: Purpose of the report and an overview of the chosen business related to tourism.
- Demonstrate the importance of a Marketing plan and outline the Pros and Cons of a marketing plan. 5. Segmentation, Targeting and Positioning reflecting on the chosen business.
- Review the existing products and services of the business by conducting a SWOT analysis (table format) along with a short paragraph explaining the current gaps, and any other appropriate literature.
- Design and justify the Marketing Plan (table format) based on the findings.
- Conclusion
- References
- Appendices.
Note: Your report should include examples of marketing material and you should use images, tables and diagrams where appropriate.
Word Count: 2000 words (10% +/-).
