Assessment Description
As part of this course, students will attend a guest lecture delivered by an experienced project management Professional. The session will provide real- world perspectives on project execution and delivery, drawn for industry experience.
After attending the lecture, you are required to write an individual reflection using 5R Reflective Framework. Your reflection should highlight key take aways from the session and how they relate to your own learning or project management practice.
You must link your reflection to at least one of the following course Learning Outcomes:
LO1: Initiate and manage project start-up and the transition to a new project phase
LO2: Allocate and monitor resources
LO3: Evaluate and monitor risks, opportunities and implement responses.
LO4: Monitor and control progress against performance expectations and make any necessary adjustments.
LO5: Report on project progress: verify the achievement of project requirements and objectives, including quality corrective and/ or preventive actions.
LO6: Distil critical information, evaluate, and review decisions to move the project forward
LO7: Deliver results, get project acceptance, and close and evaluate a project phase.
You are encouraged to reflect on not only what was shared but how it influenced your thinking and understanding of real-world project execution. Demonstrate your ability to synthesize insights, question assumptions, and consider practical applications.
